Another not-so-common blade for sale. These Bark River, KSF Custom Machete's were Ontario machete's that BR customized. They took 18" Ontario Jungle machete's and cut them down, cleaned them up, re-handled and made a nice leather sheath.
Now, you sharp eyed devils will notice right away that it does not have Red Linen Micarta handles. I had it re-handled by the guy who was BR's authorized guy back then, Russ...can't remember his last name. You old Knife Forum guys might remember.
BR reshaped that little nub at the back of the handle to eliminate the rivet, but left it as just bare metal. It was uncomfortable and bit into your finger in use. I had that covered with the new scales and had the scales extended forward just a tad to give a longer handle. It's much better now.
Of course, as usual, I had to test it, but you can see there are no blemishes. Also treated the sheath with Obenaufs. Original box, tissue and blade sleeve $200 shipped. PayPal G&S or USPS MO. USA lower 48 only. SOLD
