Looking to trade my Liten Bror for a more hunting-friendly knife. Prefer something similarly high-end except with a drop point blade shape.
This is a used knife. Bark River Liten Bror in CPM 3V steel with a "Brown Elder Burl" handle.
The knife itself is in mint condition. As mentioned, it is used, but I took very good care of it. Never rusted, never damaged the edge, etc. In fact, I never even had to sharpen it; this knife has only ever been maintained with a stropping paddle. Thanks to the great steel, that was all that it ever needed. Do a bit of research on 3V if you haven't already! It rocks, the edge will last forever. You'd never know this was my primary bushcraft knife last year by looking at it. The edge is pristine.
The sheath shows signs of use. It was oiled to darken and protect the leather, and has gotten wet a couple of times. As a result the leather is stained in some places (see the last couple pics). I think it looks freakin' awesome, personally, but a collector probably will not. You can always get a new sheath for it from Bark River without much trouble if that's an issue for you. Personally, I think that's a waste. The way the current sheath looks is fantastic, and the fit is still perfect -- very snug. Zero damage to the stitching or anything like that -- no need for a new sheath at all, unless you want plain looking leather. Meh. In person it looks amazing, like a rustic old treasure from grandpa
Here are some pics, excuse my horrible camera skills.
Knives I'm interested in:
Fallkniven (edit due to several offers -- I'm only interested in leather sheaths and most interested in S1 or F1. Definitely a fan of aftermarket handles.)
Karesuando
Helle (I'd trade for a well maintained Temagami no questions asked. I want that thing!)
Bark River
And many others!! Let's see what you got! I like drop points, and I like convex or scandi grinds. Dislike anything "tactical."
I am located in Canada but willing to ship wherever it's needed. Local would be nice though! Thanks for viewing.
