Hey everybody,

This is my first time on my first forum. Hopefully I'm posting this in the right location. Recently I purchased a Bark River Bravo 1.5 mil spec in A2 and I'm wondering, does anybody know if there is a difference between the 1.5 and the 1.5 mil spec?

Thanks for your responses! This forum has helped assist in many of my knife purchases, using as a viewer!

Mil spec generally means military specifications. For a knife like that, I'd say not much difference other than tacticool marketing vs standard model. If it's the same price as the regular, call it good

Thanks ostanley99, I new about military specifications but can't really see what the differences are. But you're right, price is the same and I don't think I'll be disappointed.

I think you're confusing terms here. There is no different "mil spec" bravo 1.5 but there are mil spec camo g10 handles available for that model.

If you sent a link to where you bought or post a picture I could tell you for sure that is the case. Right now I'm just running on that assumption because there is a listing on Amazon currently that has the knife listed with a very misleading title.

Thanks Eric@DLT! I did buy that knife with mil spec handles. That is somewhat misleading, but I would've bought the knife even if it didn't say mil spec in the listing. I just liked the look of those grips!
