Bark River Pinless

Does anyone have any experience with Bark River knives, such as the Montana Guide, that have the pinless handles? I received mine today from KSF and the handles near the blade have separated a little from the tang. I have the option of sending it to Bark River to be repaired, or Derrick will kindly let me return it. I am just not sure how well the handle will preform after it is repaired. So I would like to hear from those of you who have pinless handles, and let me know how well they last.

I had a BR Canadian Special with ram horn. Great looking knife but when I squeezed it I heard a tick. I sent it back and had pins put in it...but there was a charge cause I asked for a change. I do not trust the pinless...but I know a lot of people who have no problem.
