Bark River Prototype knife only

I am unsure of the steel on this one as it is not marked.
The blade is about 3 inches long....fairly sharp, passes a paper test, but might need a bit of a strop. It's about 7 inches or a tad longer overall.
I believe it is dark brown micarta.
There is one nick on the end of it, as shown in the photo.
There is no sheath with this knife.
