Any owners of this knife? What are the pros and cons. I think this will be my next BR. Thanks.

I've got one! It's my all-purpose go-to knife when I'm in the woods. It's a great general purpose camp knife, good for bushcraft, great for food prep around a fire, and it's not a bad skinner either. My first choice for skinning is my Wolf River, but that's PURELY for flesh (blade is so thin it rolls when you hit bone). The Settler covers ALL the other bases, and I've dressed, skinned, and butchered several deer with mine.

It fills the same niche as a Ka-Bar or a Marbles, and IMO is nicer than either.

Thanks. My dealer has several of them. I have a Snowy River on layaway there now. There layaway is the only way that I can afford Barkies.:)

Let us know what you think of the Settler. That model has caught my eye several times but I haven't taken the plunge on it yet. Keep an eye on the for sale sections of the forums. They pop up there from time to time.
