Is this a reasonable asking price for this knife used?

(( Highland Special
Item condition: Used
Price: US $100.00

Do not link to a live auction when you can post the information directly yourself. ))

anyone happen to have this knife and a bravo 1 or a fox river and bravo 1 that can comment on the handle size difference thanks

yeah that's a good price for it. I've seen it float between $100-$95 on other forums. I have a Bravo-1 and can tell you that the handles are thicker than the highland and have more ergonomics at the ricasso area. The Bravo-1 has no choil for choking. The Bravo-1 is thicker than the Highland. Both great blades. The Bravo-1 is the bigger, heftier blade. It has a thumb ramp that can be annoying for some, but Bark River can grind it down for you.

I just got a new Highland from howesknifeshop (google it) for $97. They are closing them out. The owner is a good guy. I like the knife. It's stout and compact. If you have big hands the handle might be a bit small. The Fox River and Gunny are nice too.

Yes Howes Knife Shop is a good place to check out these days.

Have a look at the prototype Fox River Magnum with blue spalted maple handles. Outside the $100 price range, but nice to look at.
