A question for the Bark River guys. I don't feel like a endless search for info tonight. Does Bark River make a model with a four and a half to six inch Stainless steel Blade? It could be a A-2 but I would like to try one of the stainless ones. Thanks.:)

The BRKT Magnum Fox River is 5.5" out of 12C27 (stainless) and is still available on some dealers. Great knife.

Mainly a hunting knife. I sort of want a stainless blade because at hunting camp they often don't get the care that they should get. At times they don't get a good cleaning for a few days.

IIRC, the sadly discontinued River's Edge is stainless. It would fit your bill perfectly. Sandstorm and Sandstorm-A are stainless. Settler is one of the best.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from anything by that company.

Why is that? Can you explain your opinion? If you would bother to discuss why you feel that way, then we may respect your opinion.

By posting the way you did, you just look like a Troll.

A. G. Russell has a version of the standard Fox River ... but I can't recall if it's stainless.

Which is odd, since I've got one right here. AND I like it.

I suppose the problem is I've never been that excited about Stainless. I can take it or leave it.

Here's the Russell I have:

I believe A.G. still has a few of these. Blade is "only" 4 inches long, though.

Maybe if you weren't so busy being insulting and jumping to conclusions, you would have realized that I knew exactly what I was talking about.

You owe me an apology.

All Fox Rivers are made of A2 Carbon steel.

If you can wait about 2 weeks, there is going to be a stainless Bravo-1
