I got Bark River full tang Kephart and Woodland Special: Defiantely yes. Those are two of my most used fixed blades.

I've been thinking about getting the woodland special - how do you find it for general utility and camp chores?

It has thicker blade than my Kephart. With 3" blade I can do everything I possibly need to do. If I got axe with me, I really don't need bigger knife than Woodland special, though I admit, my Barkies piggyback each others atm, so in camp I got bigger kephart, woodland special and axe.

Another ya. I'm very happy with all my BRKT knives.

And their warranty and commitment to customer services is first rate.

I would say yeah.

I have a Bravo-1, Bravo-2, and Aurora all in green canvas micarta. I want to get a Bravo-3 chopper to finish my set.
I wish they would hurrry up and make one for me. Anybody know when one might be produced?

I did, and it looks like there are a couple hundred on order right now at a couple of knife sellers. I think I'm going to get another Bark River... Thanks!

For me personally, it's a reluctant nah.

But for those interested in trying them out, I say ya.

In general, I think Barkies are a good value, even though the fit and finish can be spotty, both from my personal experience and from what I've read/seen online.

I have the Full Tang Kephart and love the blade profile -- sharpest knife I've ever used. But I don't feel like I can get a secure hold on the handle.

And when I look at their entire portfolio of knives, I see many with blades I'd absolutely love, but few if any with handles that would suit me.

I'm really bummed about this, too, because I think the quality of the blades themselves -- their full convex profiles and steel -- is just awesome.
