I recently acquired a barkriver model 1-7 variant in 154CM, like most of my barkriver/blackjack Effingham knives the markings are easily buffed out even with a simple flitz compound wiped on with a rag by hand. Now the question is does barkriver do re etching on their logos and is it covered by their warranty or do you have to cover the cost? Has anyone attempted to send their knives in before for that reason? Here are some pics.
as you can see only the 154CM 2002 markings are legible the barkriver and so on has been completely buffed out. Any input would be appreciated, tjanks!
