I had the perfect knife picked out for my birthday. I found a Boker Barlow with Green Bone handles and carbon blades! My wife ordered from knifecenter. After a couple weeks we called and found out they had backorders from July on that knife. Though I saw Barlows on the Boker website, they seem to have diappeared. All vesions of Barlow are gone, the Tortoise, the Grand Canyon, all gone. The bolster is what drew me - neat design.
I'm tempted to try EBAY but wonder why they were dropped. I am leary of many internet sellers, many don't list steel, very frustrating.
Anybody have the story on these? I really want the carbon steel.
I did see some cool Cinch knives with carbon blades and yellow bone handles, very nice looking.
