Baron etch?

I'm hoping that someone can tell me a little about "Baron" etches. This looks like the etch is really deep into the blade, is that just an illusion? I've found it in the Special Projects list for '87, did Baron do any others?

Maybe Richard will see this post and comment for you Dave. Any way, yes Baron did a few of the gold etch knives and if you look at the SO/LE list you can see the ones they did. There is an old thread here about them....long time ago! I posted a list of the Baron etch knives from the SO/LE list.

Four color eagle 110, Brown Trout 110, Large Mouth Bass 110, Eagle Landing 110, Duck Scene 531s (Samples), Koala Bears 110 (Samples) and probably some others I don't have in my mind right now. Baron Technologies is in CT and like Aurum did work on guns and knives. Hope that helps.
