This Barong has some scratches at the base of the blade that I didn't see until yesterday. Otherwise it's solid. It is ground from ATS-34 that I heat treat in my shop with the emphasis on toughness. The blade is 15" long and the oal is 20.5". It has a short convex grind that is honed razor sharp. The handle is made from select Koa wood. It comes with a fitted Kydex scabbard. This machete is made to be light and fast, it is also pointy. This is a very versatile blade.
