I have gotten good feedback on my barongs but I wanted a more weight forward design. In the traditional sense, this is no longer a barong but more of a mix between a barong and bolo. I moved the belly forward almost two inches and I have high hopes for how this performs.

Specs:
.150 CPM 3V
17.875" OAL
12.35" blade
2.5" wide at its widest
High flat sabre grind into a blended razor sharp convex edge
Ht by Peters to 59-60 Rc
Camo canvas micarta handles, nicely shaped and contoured, held on by three stainless flared tubes

Asking:
Knife only: $sold
Knife with Kydex sheath: $ SOLD
Knife with leather sheath: $sold

Price includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail to all 50 states, others can contact for actual shipping costs

I have what I think is the first version of the barong shape he's talking about in the same steel, and I really like it. The handle is super comfortable, and it holds a great edge. I use it around the yard for clearing back the woods along the property edge, and it works perfectly. Also capable of chopping hard wood too. The thin ground edge is really easy to sharpen too.

I'm in lust!
that's just a whole lotta awesome there BigChris!
congrats to KalEl for the score.
