Barong Proto?

Saw on ebay an auction for a few Barongs. The pic shows the original short grind and gives specs that sound like the short grind. Could these be protos that are on auction?

That's the actual blade. We were al expecting much more cutting edge as well.

I dunno. I saw the proto pic with the grind ending before the hole and these look like that. The production pics show the grind carrying slightly under the hole. I was wondering if these are a couple protos if it be good to have just for the collection since there will only be a few?

I was able to handle Barong few day ago. Not a prototype, production knife from the first batch, sold at knifeceneter. Grind doesn't reach spyderhole. You can see pictures of actual knife @ knifecenter. Barong has 4" blade with 3" edge.

This is my second disappointment after FG G10 with this knife.
I really hope that Spyderco will extend grind much further.
