043 is The Deacon's CC number. I thought it was just unclaimed numbers that got sold to non-members.

I've gotten a few random CC knives through New Graham orders before (Including Barong 196).

i've noticed a couple of weird defects in my barong. there's this weird discoloration and what looks like a mistake when they put the grind on the blade. I've emailed new graham about an exchange.

i exchanged it. the new one is waiting on my doorstep for me when i get home. I'd rather have one that would pass QA without a number than one with a number that has multiple defects.
