Hi everyone, I have a question and i really hope someone can help me out. i use alot of barrel pivot pins, maybe not as many as some of you might but alot just the same. i am looking for a barrell pivot pin .187 x .499 x 6/32. i know texas knife maker has them but 2.50 a piece is a little steep for as quick as i go through them, and they come with the screws that i dont use. can someone here hook me up with a place that just sells the barrel, or with the company that makes them? A penny saved is a penny earned :) thanks for any help

If you are using so many they are getting expensive as an item, then how many knives are you making. Try making a few yourself. Sure they are made with automation but still on a limited basis, and to be able to buy them hardened well try that too. Frank

Search industrial suppliers for "threaded barrel stand-off"
They are common in electronics to space boards apart.

This one is stainless, but brass are also very common.

How about a 1/4 OD ?

Hawkins knife supply. You can buy them without the screw. Every now and then I come across on that is slightly out of round but your looking at 1 in 50 that might be flawed.

If you don't use the screws you can bag them up and send them to many since you have so many laying around lol.

I found them in big bags in both phenolic and aluminum on ebay. It does take some creative searching to find what they are listed as. IIRC, I got them in .250X.500.
