The axe was purchased directly from him at the Las Vegas Antique Arms and Guns show in 2008. The edge is made of carbonized L6 2", with a spike on the end. End of handle is a glass breaker. G10 scales. OAL 9"
This has seen some use on camping trips and yard work. Some scuffing on the blade but it is well kept. THe leather sheath is slightly loose when dry handling but fits well on the belt.
The knife was purchased at the Las Vegas Antique Arms and Guns show in 2008. The knife is made of L6, with Cook's name engraved on the blade (hard to see on the picture as it is carbonized). It is 6", unsharpened swedge, has an integral guard and glass breaker. G10 scales. Very comfortable in the hand. Comes with a custom kydex sheath made for "behind the back" draw, making it a concealable EDC.
