Take on the zombie apocalypse with this thing. He was known to stab through a car hood and then slice a piece of paper with this at shows. This thing is a beauty. Unused Arizona Custom Knives maker Barry Dawson 27” Wakizashi sword. I think it’s the Shogun series. First run with serial number 001.
Super nice, well made sword with hard sheath and wrap. All wrap is tight. One small scratch on hilt as seen in photo. Edge is clean. You can see temper along blade and on end of blade. Blade is 18 1/4” long, handle is 8” long without hilt and total length is 27”. Collector grade.
These are impossible to find. Note it does have a tad of a smoke smell from the guy I got it from.
$2000. Shipped CONUS only. Paypal GS only. All fees, shipping, insurance included in price.

I doubt 3v. He was using carbon steels back then. Dawson started using newer steels when the company expanded to gen2. Barry is a good guy. And this is an epic piece.
I tend to agree- in some of the photos and on the blade I’m realizing you can see the heat treat on the blade. I’m an axe guy so am used to vintage axes with overlays- this looks like it was folded steel maybe? There’s a temper line that covers the entire blade.
