For your consideration is a Barry Dawson spearpoint fixed blade. Its compact (OAL is just under 9 inches, blade length is 3,5 inches) but hella robust. Carries very easy on the belt. The pics in hand give a better idea of size. I am a glove size large.
Made of 1/4 inch 5160 with a blasted finish. Micarta scales. Comes in a neat and practical ballistic nylon belt sheath. I bought it used but have only carried it myself. Marks are superficial scuff marks IMO. Edge is clean and sharp, could be made sharper with a little effort. Similar knife from Barry is $365 now.
