Barry Dawson

Has anyone in the forums heard of a knife maker by the name of Barry Dawson? I haven't found much information about him on the web and would like to hear some opinions about his knives.

Good knives, Great prices.

He has been making knives for something like 15-18 years.

Can't go wrong with his stuff.

I met Barry and his niece Lynn at the Blade Show in Atlanta and bought pieces from both of them.

He makes excellent using knives and is an absolute pleasure to talk to and do business with.

One of his offerings is a Kydex sheath that goes into and hooks to the top of your pants pocket. It is a little hard to explain but it works very well for me.

Ran into Barry and Lynn at the BladeWest show in Irvine: bought the neatest little necker in spyrograph damascus and traditional Japanese wrap from Barry that I now wear almost religiously; and bought one of Lynns' first pieces with her own engraving on it. Both fantastic people to talk to and do business with, and both do amazing work for the price... Definitely follow the link posted by RL... ya can't go wrong!
