I just got back from a few days fishing but just before I left my order came from a E-Bay seller and among that shipment was a Camillus Bartenders Trapper that I paid $10.50.....I quickly opened the package and dropped the knife in my pocket on the way out the door.
During the drive up I kept pulling that knife out.....couldn't wait to use it!
When we got up there it performed a number of tasks.....cutting the boat tie ropes, debarking a stick for the kids hot dogs and marshmellows and of course opening lots and lots of beer bottles!
I seem to like to use a tool or a knife to open beer even if they have those awful screwtops.......
Well to say the least I am happy with my new purchase and its the second Camillus knife that I now own......the first being an Electricians knife that I picked up for 5 bucks at the flea market.
I think that these knives offer great value for the money and can't wait for my Camillus Congress with Delrin handles to show up!

Nice to see an interest/appreciation for the Camillus lines of tradional pattern knives. Which are overshadowed in this forum by the tactical/military blades. Good for you, KapKopter!

Now just what are you doing awake at 3:14 in the morn?
Thanks Phil, yes there seems to be little activity on the Camillus site concerning their Slipjoints.........maybe we can generate some interest?
The Camillus slipjoints seem much harder to locate than others and they have some great stuff to collect.....
I also joined the Camillus and Case clubs......now to see what club has the better offers for club knives!
I am hoping that Camillus's next club knife is a slipjoint!
