baryonyxknife.com?

Great place to deal with. I believe it is David who runs it. He is a paid dealer here as well.

Great guy. He worked with me on setting up some giveaways earlier in the year. He is quick to deliver and has some of the best prices around. Definitely a top notch dealer in my book. Btw he is a member here so you can get in touch with hin.

FortyTwoBlades is an very active and solid contributor here on bladeforums. I have not had any business dealings with him to date, but I would not hesitate to do business with him and will likely do so in the future.

cool that seals the deal then lol
Thanks,
Thomas

Probably no longer needed, but I'll echo the feedback. Benjamin aka FortyTwoBlades is great to work with. He helped me pick out the right Machete for my needs and gave it his "special grade" finishing touches. I've also bought other blades from him and would recommend him to anyone.

Benjamin at Baryonyx is awesome to deal with! I've never been dissatisfied with any of my dealings with him and his hand made soaps are great, as well!

Odd, I just moments ago placed an order with him. Had an issue adding an item, so I called him up. He was helpful and seemed like a good guy. The issue was adding an item that appeared to be in stock wouldn't show up in the cart. He's response is that if it won't add, they simply don't have it in stock. I selected another color and it added to the cart. I used paypal to complete my order.

I then asked about his thinning grinds on the Svord Kiwi and Peasant. He said it makes the Peasant a much better slicer and doesn't detract from the durability much at all. I ordered both knives and will have them hopefully by month end. I'll try to get back here and give a quick update about how the regrinding turned out.

Seems to be a stand up establishment but I'll know more soon!

Good dude. Bought from him in the past and will do so again.

This. He has been very helpful to me, directly, and through his posts to others around the forum. The next order I make will prob go through him.

Ben is good folks.
He's active on a couple of forums i'm on and I have never heard a bad thing about him.
(yes, i also bought from him in the past and likely will do so again)

Well, I received my 2 knives from him. The svord peasant and the kiwi, both I paid the 2 and 3 bucks more to have the "special grade" where he things them out a bit. I also just received a svord peasant from another store, grind as from svord. And The Baryonyx version with "special grade" is waaaaaay sharper.

Knives were shipped quick, and his pricing is competitive will any store. I'd buy more from him when I'm in the market for one the brands he sells.

Cheers!

Stand up company run by a stand up guy...buy with confidence!

Fortytwoblades is the owner and he makes sure every blade that passes through his shop is inspected for defects, so even if the manufacturer's QC is iffy you'll get a good one. He also offers special grades on a lot of items for a few extra bucks which usually involves reprofiling the blade and cleaning up any rough edges. He also ships fast, none of this multiple-day-order-processing BS some companies do.

Only downside is he doesn't have everything I want to buy so I have to buy from someone else.
