After I made this base, I realized that the 9" width wouldn't work out for my desired set-up (mounting the motor underneath; using a 12" drive shaft). So I made a new one that is 8" wide.

The base for sale is 22" x 9" x 1/2". The underside is counter-bored for 1/4-20 Socket Head Cap Screws (0.281" thru, 0.406" counter-bore).

Obviously you would have to work with my hole lay-out; CAD files can be supplied.

$25 + Shipping.

that's a good price my man, my math shows it should weigh around 25 pounds and so that's just a little over scrap price as its .75 a pound here for anything under a 100 pounds. so you get the labor for free . I might have to pick it up as i am building another grinder but i have to look at the kmg drawings i have to see if thy will work.

Erik: This was laser-cut from A36 plate... so mild steel.

JT: yup, I'm basically trying to pass it along to someone who will use it. I'm not trying to make money.

Sam: I developed my own CAD files. I don't know if a genuine KMG will fit. The only "supplied CAD files" that I found online were neither representative of the genuine KMG nor realistic (I found some bolt holes that didn't line up, and the tracking wheel would not be in-line with the other wheels).
