Basic 7 - MORE PICS ADDED.

I may have to break down and get one of those 5's one day. Had a few opportunities in the past - not sure why I didn't go for it.

HELL yeah!!!

Dang nice !!! - thats what they are made for, Basics

Wish i had a fiver- seems kind of rare these days...;)

Nice catch... I didn't even know there was a limited run in 2011.

They were offered (at Knob Creek 2011- as far as i remember) in a batch so small that you really cant call it a run, rather a few numbers, not sure how many, maybe a handfull more or less.

At that show, the Basic 7 was offered togheter with a Euro Basic 6 and a Basic 9 (which actually has the same length as the Basic 10-LE). All of them in Mod.-INFI and Assym. grind.
To my knowledge they all came in tan/tan (you can find Oldschool Basic-6 in tan/tan too).

Newer versions Basic 6/7/9 in tan/tan:

blade 2012 during the initial stomp. There were two 9s and I didnt even see the 7 or 6 until messer (works trough control behind the booth) emailed me after the show asking if I wanted them, I did. To play it safe I would say no more then 3 9s and 2 of the others though I honestly think only 1 of each. Sick indeed, H got the entire set lol

Thanks bro, for making this possible ;)

Thanks ragnerok. I have just discovered the resiprenes on a DFLE. Maybe my favorite Bussekin handle. Like that B7 as the blade profile resembles that of the Steel Hearts. And tan? Now I'm looking for one of those...;-)

I'll take it. . . . LOL

I've had 2 of those. One a beater. One pristine. I kept the pristine pristine and passed it on.

Had the original Res-C handles been about 1/2" longer, I'd love these things. Just too small in the hand. But the steel? Awesome. And I love the shape of the old Basic series.

Thanks, Dennis. I find some handles, especially the Fusion, way longer than I need. Ergo's ok; TAC's better; but my first Res-C was an "eye - opener." Great - more Bussekins to purchase!

But the hunt is what makes the game worthwhile...;-)

Careful, tuica. It's a slippery slope.

Not sure what the source of resiprene's power is, but since Feb, I've sold most everything I have and have bought a basic 5 and two 9's. The draw is pretty intense. :o

I've been slidin' down that slope since October of 2013. Before then, I didn't know a Busse from a bus. I now have 20 'kins, with #21 about to be mailed.

And still looking for more. I am in an acquisition stage. Sell some of my collection? Perhaps down the road. Right now, I'm just sussing out all the models/variations, etc. And we know most Busses' value increases over time, so no hurry...;-)
