I can't wait to get mine to complete my basic collection. It's gonna make a great camp knife and hunting knife combo with the basic 4!!! What will you guys be using yours for?

Well I am hoping I got one. Sent my email, but haven't heard yet. I probably won't use mine, it will just sit looking pretty with its siblings. Too many knives and not much chances to use them all. Damned city living.

The B-8 will work out nicely when I'm swinging in the branches of my Pecan orchard trimming the smaller branches....So looking forward to this Basic 8....:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup

If the NMSFNO is any indication, 8" is a great length -- big enough to handle big jobs but not heavy or slow. Really looking forward to my first Basic Busse :thumbup:

I sold my NMSFNO do to the weight. Awesome knife but having back problems I've really enjoyed Res-c knives. Seem so light. The 8 should be a great compromise between my Basic 11 and my Battle Rat. ReLly this knife should be truly EPIC!!!! Gonna pair it with the Basic 4 and or AMS.

I plan on this (IF I scored) replacing my 911 as my truck knife. Now there is NOTHING wrong with the 911 but I like the ease of sharpening INFI and it holds a good edge as well. Sides now I can pare it up with my WarDog and have an INFI setup that will help me survive the Zombiepocalypse.

Know how it is, working on my Basic collection too. Pic showing my collection a few Basics ago...

One B-8 as a woods knife and the other one...you newer know.

Congratuations to all those who have been waiting for the B8. I decided the B10 is still my favorite Busse and would feel like I shorted myself using a B8 (pun intended). So I went for something else.
