I dont have the basic 4 yet but once the B8 comes I may just have to hunt for one. I like that combo idea.

Um MY Weatherby's are the Pa and Sa 459 TRS shotguns. I got mine in 20ga. TO ME a 20 will do all I want at the range I would feel using a Shotty at. Otherwise I'll use my AR15 or Remington Mohawk. And for REAL up close stuff I've invested in the Busse Boys AND my Karambits! Man, things look wicked just laying there.

I do have a B4, but for my purposes, I think I'll probably pair the B8 with something smaller. I expect the B8 to have the balance to handle a lot of smaller knife tasks, so I'll probably pair it with a lightweight folder for those moments when you need a real scalpel or just a small knife for cutting in tight spaces. I'm thinking my Fallkniven TK4 folder would work well.

The B4 will have to wait for the B14 to have a blade worthy of pairing with it. Just two weeks.

Yeah, Basic-8 pared with a PM2 and a Vic Pioneer, would be the perfect match in my book.

I guess my B-8 will be paired with my CS Voyager XL; 8" and 6" blades.

Although I DO have some smaller pocket knives.

I'm planning on pairing up my B8 and Wardog. Not sure if I am gonna go the piggy back route or keep it with two separate sheaths. But it would be nice to have the capability to bolt the two together if I wanted to.

aka Skunk Hunter in the Yard.

Yeah, I've seen rabbits bigger than her. She is a 5 year old Yorkie that weighs 5 pounds but has an 80 pound attitude!

The B4 would be a great partner to the B8.
I had a Wardog & sold it...wasn't as nice as the B4.
