Eddie do you have 2 lengths in your Model IX ? like Utility, shorter; Hunter, longer ?
roland

Roland! I actually have 3 basic lengths
Regular Model IX is around 7 1/2" overall (like this one)
IX xs overall length 6-6 1/2”
IX xl overall length 8 – 9”

I have, however, made all sizes, including one that was just short of 10" overall! I feel like a smaller blade would serve well performing most tasks, whether for every day work or for cleaning your kill after the hunt.

Thank you Eddie. That explains it for me. i already have then Model IX in regular and XS, so i'll pass on this one, but it is a Great EDC for sure.

thankx tknife! that's exactly what i am going for, working knives that look as good as they work.

i do some more intricate, more detailed knives, according to what is asked for.

In general though, I really enjoy the thought of one of my knives being used and enjoyed.

Eddie, i have thought of the effort and skill of you, the knifemaker, when i use and enjoy one of my "Shadowknives". You consistently make absolutely top-notch knives to use and enjoy the feeling of a well balanced knife slicing with ease.
This is no 'bull'. This is a most satisfying knife to own and at Eddie's price, consider it a part gift.
If you're new here and a bit overwhelmed with all the choices, buy this knife.
I guarantee you'll be very glad you did.
Eddie does not give me any "special considerations" for my enthusiatic endorsement. I just happen to have a lot of custom knives and i'm telling it like it is, which i consider to be a BF member's responsibility.

Roland! I can't imagine words to express my works, yet you do it so naturally.
I added a picture of the sheath, which is included in the price of the package. The American made sheath comes from Kentucky from Green River Leather in the raw, sewn form. I custom wetform each sheath to the knife.

I would like to second Roland's recommendations here. Being the proud owner of 8 of Eddie's knives, I can vouch for the quality of every blade. They are functional, they are extremely sharp, and they are downright beautiful from an artistic point of view. Practically a give away at this price. Grab this one while you can.

you got it Choc! I'll send that info right on! thanks!

Jim, Roland, all-- It's kind words from you folks that keep me at my level best. I strive for quality products that are for the most part affordable. Thanks guys!
