Basic Fighter?

Hi Ewok...welcome to the Busse Combat Forum.

The fighter is getting closer to reality...prototypes and patterns right now.

When Jerry takes his time, the knife he designs winds up a hit...I can't wait for the final version either.

Whats the chances of seeing some line drawings of its progress. A little tease. Will the fighter make its way into the custom line along with the steel heart, Bm and so on ??
I remember all to well what that Fighter looked like that Grnamin picked up at the NYCK show. WOW!

...it's a little premature to get JB to release some work in progress in the form of drawings, but I will try.

My understanding of the plan is that it will be released in the Basic line with the Resiprene C handle.

Whoa....only 2 weeks Cool thought for minute there I did a Rip Van Winkle....:eek:
 
For those who can't wait, I really like the Taliwhacker for a basic style fighter profile of med-small size. That one will be hard to top in that size range.

Agreed, definitely the Basic Fighter in my mind…. :)

The amazing thing about the Taliwhacker LE's is they are basically ground by hand and you can pick them up for under $200 easily….. :eek:

Yet, alas….. we have not seen a 'BUSSE' Basic Fighter to date as best I can tell. Which was what the OP was referring to with this thread…….

Hmm, A Basic 13 could sure fill the 'Basic', 'Busse' & 'Fighter' criteria…… ;) :)

Here's to hoping Jerry's been designing the Basic 13 Fighter for quite some time and it is in it's final stages of prototyping and the steel is being rolled at the mill as we speak……. :D
 
Is there a older basic fighter thread or announcement? How the hell did I miss this?

There was not much fanfare with this ganza – there was only one announcement with an automatic "go". The knives were priced insanely cheap at $167, and all 500 sold out in less than 2 minutes. :eek: I'm sorry you missed it. :(













ps, Check the first post date – RAD has been digging deep lately to resurrect some of these old threads. ;):D

Ahhh I was in the 7th grade when this thread was started. Danm it RAD, you made me think something new was coming
