This is a no-jazz, no-nonsense worker. This BFH-1 knife is forged from 5160 high carbon steel with a satin finish, forge marked flats and a file worked thumb rest. The knife is flat ground with a convex edge and has a visible hamon/quench line. The handle has a Pig skin wrap with sinew stitching and a Reindeer thong & stag tip as a lanyard fob. The tooled leather sheath is done in a "basket weave" pattern and has a stainless steel belt clip for easy carry. The knife is just over 10" with a 4 3/4" cutting edge.
