Aldo's 1084 and 15n20. The bars were roughly normalized while forging but should still receive a triple normalization before quenching. The bars were cleaned up on a 300 grit belt after cutting but are not precision flat ground.

1)3"x.835"x.115 The bar tapers from spine to edge, .145" to .106".

3)3"x.84"x.14 The bar is a bit wedge shaped and tapers from .16 to .13 over the 3" length.
