to the op...yep izula with ball chain, not paracord..... so you don't choke youself, or one of those boker plus krein pocket bowies and the chain comes with it already. it's not as much of a knife as the esee, but it's a solid choice, imho.

question, concealed knife is illegal you said right? wouldn't a knife in a pocket clipped be considered concealed? it is where i am....unless it's under a 4" blade then it's a-okay.

If you are going with breezy, roomy basketball shorts, one could attach a small knife to an actual ball chain, if you get my drift.

I wear basketball shorts around the house and out to the store all the time. If the knife is moving around too much just make the clip grab tighter by slightly bending it. If you need to get your knife just use two hands - you don't have to always grab it with only one hand and flick it open all cool like If you really need to use just one hand because the other is occupied then just grab the handle and clip then pull up and away from your body when drawing the knife - don't just pull up.

If its cold enough to wear a jacket then it's cold enough to wear pants, not shorts. Just doesn't make sense to me.

You could always just keep the knife in your jacket pocket, then you don't have to worry about a carry method for your...shorts.
