Got a post card in the mail today from Bass Pro............ We sincerly regret that shippment has been delayed.However,we expect our stock to be replenished within the next 30 days.
If shippment is not made before 08/07/2006 we will cancel your order and immediatly refund any funds held..... has anyone got one of these .

Is this a new steel? By the price, these are more expensive than Cabela's Alaskan Guide series. I wish they made one in the Vanguard style....

It is a steel they have been using ... Buck Alpha Dorado 271 is one I have in 154cpm.... wicked sharp,Buck has used it in other knives as well and will be available this summer in the 110 custom.... as per Sarah Buck.Supposed to be easier to sharpen.EDC it now and swapping cutting chores with a 110.

154 cpm is what a company in Japan made a copy of
{they called it called ats-34}
as the maker of 154 had some quality control issues but is now produceing quality GooD steel now ...
i think s 30 v has a bit better salt water restance to it...
i want a 110 in s30v with Bosz heat treat! my self

You can already get that S30V 110 from Cabelas, if you don't mind a black blade with yellow logo.

I would guess there is a problem. Many forums have been slaughtered cos the above "text scrolling box" can have many nasties written into it...
