Bass Pro Shops acquiring Cabelas: Fate of the Cabelas 110?

Never had a Cabela's close to where I live got a Bass Pro Shops about 20 miles away fairly recently, Dick's is fairly close and we've had one called Big 5 Sporting Goods around here for years I think it's more a west coast chain, sadly our mom and pop stores have pretty much vanished, we've got some bigger names headquartered locally such as 5.11 Tactical and Royal Robbins but I suppose that is veering a bit off topic.

I have no idea if Basspro will keep the Alaskan guide series alive or not. So in my way of thinking if there is a Cabelas exclusive item you like you might get one in your hands before all the corporate changes start to take effect on the Cabelas franchise. I've been told by store employees when asking about the Alaskan Guide series that they sell very few of them in store and normally only have the display on hand. If they really don't sell all that many of these knives I could see Bass Pro cutting them from the product line even if they do keep the Cabelas brand alive. I'm sure that after a transition period the Bass Pro managment team will obsorb some of the Cabelas team and cut the rest loose it makes no business sense to keep duplicate managment teams on the payroll.
