Bass Pro Smooth Bone series- What animal bone is it ?

Cold, Welcome. As items like this go... These are likely a Limited Production run. If they sell well it's likely they'll be brought back. As other Buck--- Bass Pro items have returned. DM

Plan on getting one of these Buck 119 next week so I sent an email to Buck inquiring about the origin of the bone, here's the reply.

"Thank you for your inquiry. I checked with our purchasing department and was told that the bone comes from India.

Interesting, aren't cows holy there?

The cow is holy in Hinduism but is eaten as beef products in many areas of India. I believe it depends on the traditions in various areas of the country.

I know this is an old thread but wanted to say that those are beautiful knives. I was just browsing BP site as I was doing some Christmas shopping for the kids ad seen the bone handled knives. I actually forgot about them even though they have been out for some time. Curious as why they don't seem to be more popular than they are. Anyway stunning looking knives.
