They built one about 15 miles from me a year ago. I enjoy going there just to look at the old tackle on the walls.

yeah bass pro...:D we need to go again one of these days... cool pics..

nice beaver shot too...

If I had one that close to me, I would be flat broke; with 1/2 my money spent at Basspro and the other 1/2 spent with the divorce lawyer shortly after.

I went to the one in Flordia when I was on holiday earlier this year, picked up a buck slipjoint and a few other things. Great to look around, service wasn't great on the knife counter though

It's nice to be able to actually look and handle stuff in person ... but not so great on the wallet !!!!!!!

There is one near my work, at Arundel Mills. I really enjoy shopping there, especially looking at the boats and the fish tank. The huge channel cat wasn't there last weekend :(.

Man,that looks like an awsome shop! :thumb
I wished we have such shops here, but so far there aren't any... :(

There is 3 within driving distance of me, and a Cabelas. They are evil places. I have a buddy who works at one of em and hooks me up with his 40% discount. Too sweet.

The one we have in springfield is the biggest one if im not mistaken. They have waterfalls and all sorts of neat stuff. There is also a fine gun room that has some shotguns that will put a serious hurtin on your bank account. To the tune of 20,000.00!

They are cool places. Hey boomer, sorry to hear about your buddy. I hope you are hangin in there.

Sign me up. We have both Bass and Cabela's a short drive away. I find Bass offers comparable gear to Cabela's at slightly *better* prices. Not a whole lot of cost difference to be sure, but Bass has a slight edge.

Worst gift in the world to give someone is a $20 Bass Pro gift card. You stand there shock still in the center of the place trying to decide where to spend it. You finally decide "camping," and then as you walk there, you say, "No...wait!" You turn around and start walking a different direction and say "No...wait!" This can go on for hours.

I have a Bass Pro near me at the Patriot Stadium in Foxboro, MA. It's amazing what a few million dollars of decorating budget can do. It is an amazing place to poke around in. I always seem to walk out of that place with something camouflage:)

Bass Pro rocks. All we get around here is Gander Mountain, Weak. I need to get up to the closest one to me KC.

Oh man, it's so cool to finally have one within driving distance. I love that place!!!
