Great news! Make sure that he understands that complete strangers cared about him, and that he drove his ex wife, daughter and friends (you and your circle of buddies out looking for him), to the brink. Smack him around a little bit and make sure he gets some help!
 
I am glad all turned out ok Ren. It must be such a relief, especially for the daughter.

I lost my best friend to suicide back in 1995 from gambling. I still miss the heck out of him. Wish I could kick his a$$.
