BAT or Tank Buster?

I am pretty sure the two knives have the same length blade. From what I can make out on the dog tag: 5" blade, 10.5" overall length. The difference is in the blade prophile. The TB has a deeper belly and, thus, a wider blade and larger choil. It also has the double dip spine of the FBM. From the pics on the Busse Combat museum site, it appears that the first half of the blade may have a false edge/swedge as well. I'm not sure about blade thickness but with a name like "Tank Buster" it seems like it should be appropriately beefy.

This is all well and good, but the TB won't make an apperance for several months at the least.

Snag the BAT now and you have more than a little time to decide if you like it or not.

Probably enough time to save up for the TB and do a side by side.

I got that thing in about 2 weeks. Great turnaround. I was not expecting that. It is very sweet (if something that big can be considered sweet). Several others of the INFI wonders have made their way to my house lately as well.

You will have to post some pics of your growing collection.

Badger attack ergo... 5" blade

redmex73,

ZOMBIE THREAD! It LIVES!!!!!!!! :p

Hey, man...You drudged up an almost 5 year old thread.:D Please check the date of the last post on a thread before adding to it... If one is this old, it is usually no longer needed or valid to the Original Poster, and if you have a similar question or some new info, it is usually better to just start a new thread on the subject. :)
