One thing about the Edge Pro, don't you use the stones wet, so it makes a drippy mess?
I just got a Harbor Freight 1 x 30" belt sander, so I'm making a different kind of mess!
You only use water to clean the stones every so often during a sharpening session. I usually will work a side with a stone and when I am ready to do the other side of the knife that is when I use a small water bottle to apply a little water to the stone. Then I use an absorbent cloth to dry the stone off. This is done to remove excess debris from the stone and to get it gritty again. But the stone is always dry when sharpening so there is no mess concerning water. At least not for me.
