BATAC in action!

Tyrkon,

Great vids and thanks for sharing.
With all the abuse you seem to be dishing out to your Busse blades lately maybe I better skip you on the passaround as well. :p
I'm just not sure my old beat up A2 blade could handle the punishment.

On a serious note, I've been informed that throwing the early blades with smooth or slotted fasteners could loosen the fasteners.

I doubt you would damage the A2, but anything is possible I guess. A2 is a great steel.

As for the slotted bolts loosening, a few people over the years who have tried to remove the handles on slotted bolts had no luck, but again anything is possible.

I can't wait to get my hands on that vintage piece of INFI! :D

Seriously though you know I will handle it with respect, admiration, and envy. I may drool on it however.

Dave, if it'd make you feel better, I can just keep it for everybody elses week, too. Gotta keep that old INFI safe, you know.

The slotted and smooth fasteners are "Loctited" together.
The impact force can possible break the bond and the fasteners start to loosen.

Greg,

You my friend are such a giver. :D
You have without my consent (but it's ok) traded my A2 SHBA for a INFI SHBA.
I think my passaround knife just went up in value.

Thanks,
dave
