BATAC TIP -vs- Cinder Block

Tykron,

You one crazy dude ;) I was just kidding man! The tip came out in much better shape than the cinder block. It most likely dulled some....but nothing that a good sharpening couldn't fix.

This pic was taken right after the Tip test. I just cleaned the tip with soap, warm water, and a sponge. Some scratches and a little dulling. Nothing more.

These next two pics were after about 10 minutes on the Edge Pro using the finer grits and then a leather belt. Shaving sharp again. :)

I'm done here. This little guy has proven all it needs to for me. Now just time to enjoy using the heck out of it. :)

BTW: Just for the record. This was clear abuse. The INFI did superb. Time to be nice to the BATAC.

Awesome again Tykron:thumbup: phone book, cinder block...know go throw the thing! (or did I miss that)

Thanks for the Video!

No one would ever know...that this man is a science teacher!

Guess you don't need a chisel, if you've got a Busse.

Great video...nice to see some infi getting worked on a lil bit....Question: Did you really think it was fair to pick on that cinderblock like that....I mean, it is a little out of its class. What did that cinderblock ever do to you?;)

Thanks guys. However, it's not meant to be plain abuse. Testing my INFI is a big tension breaker plus it lets me "KNOW" how tough our knives are. Not scientific like Cliff's stuff but it makes me feel better at the end of the day. The tip just received some scratches which easily cleaned up. Great little knife. Kudos to Jerry and crew once again. :D

It fell on my toe while carrying it around. So this was pure and plain REVENGE! :p:D
