Nah! Here's the thing. When I compared my NO-E and BATAC the NO-E was of course thicker. But when they got down to the last 1/2" or so the BATAC was actually a tad thicker. I'm not sure if that is normal or not. So I wasn't really worried.

What competitors? Honestly, I have sold off basically all other brands. I know there are plenty of awesome makers and brands out there but I am set on Busse and its affiliate companies. :thumbup: However, if someone were to send my a competitor's knife I'd be glad to give it a work out. Or better yet have some fun yourselves and post a vid.

I am sure the concrete ground is a lot more compact and dense that the blocks I used.
