BATAC TIP -vs- Cinder Block

Wow. Now I can skull-crush AND stab a guy wearing the veritable cinder-block helmet.

COOL VIDS!

I am such an INFI wuss. Best I've done thus far is batoning some wood into kindling.

that's INSANE!!!

i would have thought the tip would roll or deform somehow.

Me too. :eek::p

Nah! Here's the thing. When I compared my NO-E and BATAC the NO-E was of course thicker. But when they got down to the last 1/2" or so the BATAC was actually a tad thicker. I'm not sure if that is normal or not. :eek: So I wasn't really worried.

What about some REAL fun!!!!!
I always like to see how a competitor's knife would hold up doing the same test! :D

What competitors? :D Honestly, I have sold off basically all other brands. I know there are plenty of awesome makers and brands out there but I am set on Busse and its affiliate companies. :thumbup: However, if someone were to send my a competitor's knife I'd be glad to give it a work out. :p Or better yet have some fun yourselves and post a vid.

I think Dave B. chopped up a Dark Ops. ;)

:eek: NICE! Tyrkon, you da MAN. Freakin' sweet! :D:D:D :thumbup: Made me come up with another test... LOL

Try THIS... :eek: :

...Now I gotta go get a sledgehammer to "CHOP" it OUT. :eek: LMAO, guess I'm not King Arthur, LOL :grumpy::D

Forget the sledgehammer, just grab the Battle Mistress and wail away! :D

WHOA! Now that's deep. Whatch' ya gonna do now? You should leave it there and post clues to its location. Call it the Jaxx Nuclear Payload. And then the person who finds it has to pull it out by hand. And then they get... a lanyard. :p

Post after pics please. :thumbup::thumbup:

Sure! Just as soon as I 'CHOP' it out! LOL TL, it's a 'fake', nestled between 2 rocks in bubble wrap. Photo software did the rest. LOL :D ...Just how strong do ya think I am? heh-heh! :D

Still looks like this:

Cool pic! I knew it the whole time. :o
With all the INFI you have you have got to be Hercules! :D

But now I have got to try that! And then pry it out. You know... A little lateral strength test. :eek: :D :thumbup:

Cool vid!:thumbup: :thumbup: None of my Busse/Swap RAt original blade tips have survived being dropped into concrete without a bit of deforming. I chalk it up to "popping the cherry".

I am sure the concrete ground is a lot more compact and dense that the blocks I used.

Well, I have some folders -- but Jerry's not selling one.

And a few customs. And really, who doesn't like Doziers??:thumbup:

I'll at least look around and see what's laying about.

I think a CRK would also do well under these test conditions...
