correct. and i turn in the company stores order at the same time you guys are ordering from busse. i have to guess on how popular the model will be before i turn in our order. This topic seems to come up with EVERY new release of an LE model. You guys are misapplying the term. Jerry has stated time and again that, in his usage, "Limited" means "never to be offered in this combination again", not "restricted in number".
As far as the numbering scheme goes, a block is reserved for Skunk. Presumably, there is no overlap. I'll try and find the thread where we talked about that.

i try to get input from amy, garth and the order people at busse to find out what combinations are the most popular and i follow that ratio in my own ordering.
busse first fills your orders and then fills the stores at their convenience and when they are sober. that's why we don't sell them until way later. it helps some of the newbies and folks who may not have the moolaa when busse offers them.
good news is sometimes i can send enough coors and johnny (it help when you send too) to them and i can get some tricked out special combinations that were not offer by the busse shop. mole jack's, nasa'a, beaver's, warden's, sterile, and strange variants only offered in a drunken stupor.
as far as the numbers go, i think the stores number prolly start where the shops end. at least thats what i've seen on the other limited editions.
limited edition means the combo will not ever be run again in that model.
