BATACLEs at the BCS

This topic seems to come up with EVERY new release of an LE model. You guys are misapplying the term. Jerry has stated time and again that, in his usage, "Limited" means "never to be offered in this combination again", not "restricted in number".

As far as the numbering scheme goes, a block is reserved for Skunk. Presumably, there is no overlap. I'll try and find the thread where we talked about that.

Rick
correct. and i turn in the company stores order at the same time you guys are ordering from busse. i have to guess on how popular the model will be before i turn in our order.
i try to get input from amy, garth and the order people at busse to find out what combinations are the most popular and i follow that ratio in my own ordering.

busse first fills your orders and then fills the stores at their convenience and when they are sober. that's why we don't sell them until way later. it helps some of the newbies and folks who may not have the moolaa when busse offers them.
good news is sometimes i can send enough coors and johnny (it help when you send too) to them and i can get some tricked out special combinations that were not offer by the busse shop. mole jack's, nasa'a, beaver's, warden's, sterile, and strange variants only offered in a drunken stupor.

as far as the numbers go, i think the stores number prolly start where the shops end. at least thats what i've seen on the other limited editions.

limited edition means the combo will not ever be run again in that model.

It does seem like you don't see many 400s, 500's and 600s in people's pics of either the FBMLE or BATACLE.

Skunk, listen to us! The Black and Blue fat warden will be a hit. Order more! :D

No, don't. Let those who were slow to the trough pay through the nose or trade something equally rare for 'em, just like those of us who missed out on the LEs and the Satin & Green Linens had to do.

Skunk,

Any idea what the last Warden will be? Or was the Orange/Black the last?

How about a set:D

One morbidly fat (near .30) with a G-rex handle with pins:eek: , and one matching anorexic (.125) with matching handle and both DC or satin.

Sold only as a set.

I know there were some (20-30 maybe) that went to Alaska Gun. I got 356 from them and they had more up to around 380.

I tried to get 357 to go with my S&W 686+ 2.5" but missed it :(

I sadly admit that, although I have amassed a shamefully large horde of INFI over the past year, I still could not stop myself from grabbing every single one of these little Wardens I could. :o:(

Obviously, Mikeymoto is right. Just as obviously, I think it's too late. Skunk no doubt ordered these months and months ago ... many 'two week' periods. The Boss' mind has gone on to ASH1s, AASs (if we're lucky), and into strange pastures which lesser minds may never walk.

I don't believe the Blues Wardens lasted more than 2.0 seconds when released into the Store ... pretty impressive!

EDIT: Of course, I strongly support Tony G's excellent idea!!

I like that idea for the final set... would be a cool way to close out the wardens.

As for number 30 in the line up... I consider the logo'd pumkin wardens to be #30.
They were sold thru BCS and have the production logo.

The word I heard is yes, the logo'd ones are part of the 'set'.

wouldn't it be cool to have some satin meaners and ad's to go along with the blue warden? MMMmmmmm?

and what is the official name of the blue warden?

I think there are a few here that would like the blue warden to be named the Officers Warden.

And while we're on the subject...

Someone posted that the black & red looks oxblood in color... so how about the Oxblood Warden?

And of course the black and tan should be dubbed the Fat Skunk Warden. :D

Very, very cool! As long as they stay about the same width as the last blades of that type - very usable EDC and Trail knives. Maybe best ever. So bring 'em forth, Skunk! Bill

Yes, be careful Lil Foo! Regarding putting all those badgers in the same room!!

How's Bruiser Warden for black & blue? No? POS warden? Police Officer's Special, not piece of S:foot::foot::foot:, LOL

Black & Tan? The PM warden... for Paddling-man who was the first I remember calling for it... or just maybe the BEER Warden, LOL Black & Tan...

I gots no clever name for the black & red one... :D ...If the others actually QUALIFY as clever, that is! :p

I like "Officer's warden" much better than "Levi's warden" for the blue/ black. A "Levi's" model would have blue canvas (denim) micarta handles, IMO.

And yes, I have one. :D More precisely, I WILL have one, if the postman ever bothers to show up.

(edit)- It just showed up. Awesome! That sucker is FAT as all hell. Like the proverbial railroad spike. I don't think I'll be breaking that one anytime soon. And the new texture on the slabs- sort of checkered or quilted- very, very nice.
