Forged all these hammer heads at my last shop before it closed down. All are 1045, all quenched in brine with a touch of dish soap. All the handles are hickory, single hardwood wedge and single steel wedge. 2 cross peens, 3 offset Japanese cutler's/dog head hammers and a rounding hammer.

Nice job Sam.

How heavy, and how long are the handles of the three in the center?

thanks guys :D:D:D:D

Shawn, they are about 2 pounds, i'll have to measure the handles tomorrow, there is a long medium and short though.

Burton, I have been testing and prototyping the handle contour, with these I have it down perfectly it is an incredible feeling to have the hammer fit so well in the hand (and it keeps you from choking up).
