I bought the 5" Condor Bushcraft Basic. I will give it a removable handle with a guard.

If you absolutely, positively have to batton a knife, my reccommendation is this:
Use the other guy's knife. That way, yours does not get broken or damaged by a hidden nail, bullet, knot, or whatever that is embedded in the wood.

The knife arrived. A lot of work needs to be done on it. It wasn't ground enough. If the Schrade froe had a short removable handle, I would get it.

I'm thinking about returning the Condor and getting a bk10. I don't like the shape of the becker blade's tip, and it is a bit wide.

You can, when back in stock, get a fit your handle version for peanuts. I the handle that finished ones have, but at least there is an option for those that want to add their own.

The Kabar zombie famine tanto looks good. It could be fixed with less grinding.

The Ontario vulpine is looking attractive (5160, good shape, skeletonized). The big question is whether it's hollow ground. Even then, I would get it.
