Batoning knife recommendation

If you absolutely, positively have to batton a knife, my reccommendation is this:
Use the other guy's knife. That way, yours does not get broken or damaged by a hidden nail, bullet, knot, or whatever that is embedded in the wood.
 
The knife arrived. A lot of work needs to be done on it. It wasn't ground enough. If the Schrade froe had a short removable handle, I would get it.
 
I'm thinking about returning the Condor and getting a bk10. I don't like the shape of the becker blade's tip, and it is a bit wide.
 
The Ontario vulpine is looking attractive (5160, good shape, skeletonized). The big question is whether it's hollow ground. Even then, I would get it.
