Batoning, one stick fires and fellowship (pic heavy)

Great pics Scott! Man I almost always hate the idea of fire here during the day this time of year. When my tinder is getting drenched in sweat I just lose interest in starting the fire :)

We had a nice day when we did that. Past couple of days have been brutal with heat. I agree, no firemaking in this heat.

Yep, it's been unseasonably warm all over lately. I hate a great opportunity to try out a new frog gig I made the other day, but I wasn't sure what appealed less...starting the fire, or raw frog legs...so I just watched the frogs.

Thanks. I really liked the Junglas. I've had an original RTAK and have beat on it pretty hard but I had to modifiy it to fit my hand better. The Junglas feels better in the hand with a better blade design.

Scott also put one of his edges on. Didn't get to play with it over the weekend, but plan on it this weekend.:D
