Batoning...

Any time batoning is brought up there is the die hards that will always tell you to use an axe, then the people who will do it if they HAVE to, and finally the people that do it for fun. Each and every batoning topic is the same, just brought up in a different manner.

I like the line 'different strokes for different folks' here. Some do it, some don't. Each has their own opinion.

I've just had enough of batoning for awhile, so — at least for awhile — Don't ask, don't tell works for me.
 
speaking of which, what's the pro's and con's compared to an axe?
