Looking to get an edc/small game knife and am considering one of these makers. Looking around the 6" OAL and wanted to get your thoughts. Max budget is 150. Open to any and all suggestions in this size and price range. Not sure what kind of steel I want. May occasionally be used for kitchen tasks.

I personally love the LT Wright Great Plainsman. Fantastic knife that feels good in the hand and it is definitely in your budget!
 
I don't own any BH knives, but my Barkies and LT's are all excellent - it's just a matter of finding the model/style that appeals to you most.

Can't go wrong with any of them, get the one you like the best. If possible get the one that you like in your hand the best!
 
Thanks for the replies! The Essential looks awesome but a bit out of my range. My biggest problem 8s not having any local dealers where I can check them out hands on. Just hate spending much on something I can't check out in person. Leaning towards maybe and IMP or a Patriot.
