Battle Mistress at BCS....

Thanks for the update Skunk

i guarantee you hogs that i'm not playing games with the busse store.

i believe a person should be able to buy as many knives as they want, no limits.

but enough is enough... we are going to put limits on the ordering as soon as possible.

thanks for your support

You guys missed one obvious motive. There are those who have been saying all along that Skunk should put cart limits in place, nearly demanding it even. What better way to force the issue than tie up his business with phony cart loading. Whatever the motive, if we ever find out who it is, you can be sure they will be cut off, I can't think of anyone who would do business with them in the secondary and I wouldn't blame Skunk if he denied the guy from buying at the Co. Store.

Scott, you will continue to have all our support. This ain't YOUR fault! :(

I've never been a fan of vigilante justice, but ...........

Fine, just trying to be helpful and it worked for a very frustrated HOG last night. Guess no good deed goes unpunished. I will stop it.

Again, I was appreciative. How bout you PM or email me next time you got one ready to go.:D:D:thumbup:

For the record - and I'm only speaking for myself here - I think holding piles of knives then "releasing them upon request" for others is a pretty dirtball move.

Those of you who do that, I don't know if you've convinced yourselves that you're protecting the inventory from hogtiers, being crusaders fighting the good fight or what....

...it's a problem. It exasperates the problem, it doesn't solve it.

Also accusing skunk of any shady behaviour is pretty messed up too.

Skunk,
You got me on that one, my friend. I fell for it hook, line, and sinker.:p I thought, "OMG, they are right here!!!" And then the epiphany. Duh!!!

For the record I have done this twice. And only with one or two knives. And only for about 15 - 30 minutes. Both times an eager hog was able to score.

I was assuming, though incorrectly, that Skunk was holding knives in an Administrator cart and releasing them slowly in order to thwart people who cart hog.

If you were holding those knives and I checked the BCS only, I miss out on the knives. Yet someone else on the forums might encounter you and get a chance to buy. Why do you get to decide who buys and who doesn't?

Thats awfully presumptuous.

The people who did get the knives after you released them, why do they deserve the knives more than the guy who checked the site 5 mins earlier but didn't catch you on these forums?

This behavious perpetuates a problem and only further aggrivates those of us who have money and are willing to spend it the moment we see the knife we want on the BCS. Having to Come on these forums and check with you (or others like you) in order to buy a knife off the BCS is ridiculous.

limits on a knife sound good to me. The limit should just be on that type of knife, but you should be able to order as many differant models as the BSC might have.

In other words I might want two of all he's got one day:D

After a NEW knife has been put up it would be great if the limit would be on for only 3 or 4 days on that model. After that the limit is lifted.

What am I rambling about? It's not my store:p

Yep, he got me to when a town near me popped up:D

I think letting one or two people change the way the BCS does business is a bad move.
They now have made a difference, where as before they were just a nusiance...

On two occasions I was able to guarantee that a knife wasn't sucked back into the hog-tier's cart and was able to be purchased. Go ahead fish-shoot me for it. I really don't think I'm the problem here. But in any case I will not meddle anymore. Sorry if I didn't factor in declination when setting my moral compass.

Hey brother this is part of the problem......
Don't get me wrong you did it for me awhile ago with a Fat GW, but its a pain to go between here and BCS to find out that you have, and are going to release at certain time. I got lucky last time and found your post.

I got one but would've liked to Hog two.

Werent you selling four or so on the exchange not too long ago?
Not accusing you or anything but it seems to have worked out pretty well for you. I dont think the little help we are doing for each other is the problem at all. It is definately some "INFI hater" out there in my opinion. And he/she is probably laughing it up pretty good as we speek on it. Just my 2 cents.
