How long ago was the current LE version avail on the Busse Store? Since most of you can probably predict trends pretty well, how soon will they start popping up on the sale forums, and ballpark figure here, how much?

Is the tiger hide micarta actually made with real tiger hide? Or is that just the pattern?

Edit: Generally speaking, which is more desireable? Flat grind or saber grind?
 
My FFBM is sabre ground and would hands down the only blade I would grab if the shtf
I took this huge knife to hunt camp twice this fall and not only did turn a couple guys onto Busse but it also was used as a pry bar to split tree sections in half .............ahhhh , man I'mm getting so excited I cant even finish this !

Ordered thru the Company website? This time last year. From the Company Store? Probably as recent as last spring.

They've been going for close to original retail lately. $697+

Man... hard one to answer. The Heavy Heart Fusion Steel Heart was saber... it tends to go for more than the CG that was flat. It really depends on scarcity. Beyond that, it depends on what each user likes. Right now there seem to be more FFBM showing up on the exchange so, in the short term, I would agree with Hogwash... the FFBM might be less desirable. Your other options are SE, LE, Proto, CG or Custom, each with their own trends and followings.

Here is an FBM LE (top) and a CG FBM with Black/tan G10 scales and the Urban Gray coated blade.

This is great time to start on Busse knives. The availibility has probably never been so good. With a little patience you can pick up an FBM for very close to original list price.

So When can I buy a new FBM off the site and where can I get info regarding shipping costs to Canada?
